ETIAS is an acronym for European Travel Information and Authorisation System. The scheme is being introduced in 2024 and will apply to nationals from 60 visa-exempt countries entering most European countries. The UK is one of those visa-exempt countries, and UK nationals will therefore need to apply for an ETIAS before entering most European countries when the scheme rolls-out.

ETIAS is currently not in operation and no applications are collected at this point.
